How do you get Bed Bugs

Bed Bugs are hitchhikers so pinpointing where someone has picked them up is difficult and often impossible. They can be picked up from a friend or family member's house, hotel, hospital waiting room, work, or anywhere else that one could have been dropped off of someone else. Once bed bugs are brought in to the home they find a crack or crevice to hide in that's near a regular food source, usually beds or couches and the areas around them. They are excellent hiders and fast breeders so a couple turns in to a full bed bug infestation very quickly, but due to their ability to hide, it's not uncommon for bed bugs to be in a home for several months before anyone realizes it.

Once bed bugs are found in the home it is recommended to have a professional bed bug exterminator handle the issue. Bed bugs are very difficult to completely exterminate. They are able to build us resistance to certain pesticides, many online bed bug DIY methods are not effective, and many store bought bed bug sprays are not effective in completely eradicating bed bugs in a home.
